The building is clean and well maintained with excellent amenities, notably the skydeck lounge that provides beautiful views of downtown and Elliot Bay. The units are spacious, look modern, and are a great place to exist. Absolutely standout staff in the office (also those who work behind the scenes) who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Everyone has been friendly, supportive, and informative. It's honestly been one of the most positive experiences I've had with a leasing company. Everyone has a great attitude and you can tell they care about people. The leasing agent who handled my application, Christian, was professional and communicative throughout the entire process. I appreciate that he made everything simple and stress free. All in all, easygoing personable staff, cool building with nice amenities, friendly community, and it's located in a safe neighborhood in one of the best areas of Seattle. Thankful to be here!

The team here are amazing. They always make me feel welcomed and are very helpful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and close to the freeway for quick access downtown. The rooftop views are pretty spectacular of the water and the downtown skyline. The apartment itself is very spacious with a lot of natural light. Very happy here.

I've lived here for 1 month and so far everything is exactly what you would expect for the age of the building. I will update this review as time goes by. Management and maintenance have been responsive and available when needed.

I recently toured the property and was shown around by Christian who did a fantastic job, was very friendly and personable, and definitely impressed me with his knowledge and abilities. The property was very nice and well-maintained, with great amenities, and the floorplans I saw were in excellent condition and a good value.

We’ve been here for over a month now and couldn’t be enjoying it more. After looking for close to 2 months, it was almost like this place found us. A same day appointment with Christian allowed us to comfortably make a decision and ever after being here for a couple weeks, we have no regrets. Christian was professional, quick to set us up with an application and verify our paperwork to lock in the apartment we wanted. The area is quiet, safe and a short 5-10 minute drive to everything. The bus lines and highway are extremely convenient. The building is on the older side with some quirks (washers and dryers are gigantic and don’t fit in the closets they are in), but so many other positives, great rooftop, various lounge spaces, movie room, capuchino machine in the lobby. Everyone is pleasant and considerate on my floor so we are quite satisfied! Glad we found YSF.

My experience with the leasing office from the tour experience to the final day of moving in, they were always willing to answer my questions.

"oh.. you're moving to West Seattle?! That's so far..." WELL... now that the W.Seattle Bridge is back, it's not so bad! Easy access to the bridge, Alki, and the Junction, great quiet and safe neighborhood, and overall has been a great building/community to move to. Build: We rarely hear our neighbors (I've heard neighbors simply sneezing through the walls at previous apartments before - so these aren't thin walls which is a huge win). Community: Parking is easy for guests. Fun brewery to walk to. Larger gym with a pool that's a few minutes away if the on site gym doesn't cut it for you (but otherwise the onsite gym has the basics!). The rooftop and skylounge is GREAT! The neighbors are also pretty nice too! I've met some really nice folks on the elevator and in the community areas that are fairly nice and respectful. Front Office/Maintenance: Christian has been really great with communicating in a timely fashion and answering any questions we have. He also plans the community events which has been really fun so far! Greg from Maintenance has helped with a few items and is always great to chat with! He's timely as well!

Anyone who rents knows that no apartment is perfect, but Youngstown Flats nearly accomplishes that feat. The staff and facilities at Youngstown are top notch. The apartments are well maintained and modern. The grounds are kept clean and tenants take pride in their spaces. This complex is very dog friendly and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The surrounding area is quiet and secluded. This is a great place for urban living without the hustle and bustle.

My experience at Youngstown Flats has been fantastic. The apartments have a clean, modern, and updated feel to them, and the common areas are always really well-maintained. I've had apartments in the past with very under-utilized common areas, but the staff at Youngstown Flats (especially Christian!) are always hosting super fun events in the lounge, on the patio, the theater, etc., and it has helped create a wonderful sense of community here.

I have lived here over a year. The office guys are super cool and actually helpful. I will probably never leave.

I could not be more pleased with these apartments. Management is so helpful with any concerns I have. Kim is always willing to take the time to help me. I love that parking is easy to get in and out of and is very secure. The rooftop is my favorite place in the building, it has gorgeous views and is very well kept.

I only had a tour of the place. Nice management and cool roof deck with a nice view of the port/ city skyline.

Great place to live! Move in process was smooth and the management/office team is very responsive. The few maintenance requests I have put in have been resolved promptly with no issue.

We love the community, the common areas remain clean and the neighbors are respectful. Our issues get addressed in a timely manner. Kimberly and Christian are very helpful, professional, and friendly and James did a great job with our maintenance request.

I came in for a tour and was so impressed with Christian's professionalism. He knew a lot about the community and the surrounding areas. Their homes are cute and their amenities are pretty spectacular. Unfortunately I couldn't make my move in date work with them but if I could have leased here I definitely would have.

Ive lived in seattle for 4 years and this is the first year I’ve been as happy as I am at an apartment. Staff is great and my dog loves the fenced run outside to play in. Location is close to the health club, brunch spots and some great bars. No regrets

The apartments are fairly modern with updated appliances. Common areas are kept clean and well maintained. The security of the building feels safe and comfortable with multiple layers of fob scanning required to get into the building. You can pay for covered parking in the garage, but if you don't want that there is plenty of street parking and the street is safe! The community manager (Christian) is extremely helpful and always happy to help residents. Maintenance is quick and extremely friendly. Very pet friendly building as well!

I’ve been living here since 2020 and the current management has been a step above. Fantastic management and maintenance.

I really like the current management, maintenance and custodial crew here. They are friendly, helpful and have made a lot of effort in the last year to improve the cleanliness and security of the building, and they put on fun community events. The units are nice, and the location is great for getting in and out of West Seattle being so close to the bridge.

I have been living here since Oct. 2022, & I absolutely love this place! The staff are personable, courteous, and make you feel right at home! I would heartily reccomend this place to anyone who is interested in moving here. The people here mostly keep to themselves, but based upon the interactions I've had they're friendly. They have some nice amenities too - an excercise room, a theater room with a large screen TV & sound system. clubhouse on the top floor, & a deck on the roof that has awesome views of the downtown skyline and Elliot Bay/Puget Sound. They also have community functions & parties from time to time.

This property is beautiful and conveniently located near so much.
